Total Strike in Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Orissa, Chhatisgarh and Tamil Nadu.
90% in Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and West Bengal.
80% in Uttar Pradesh.
50% in Delhi and Gujrat.
No Strike in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.

10th
Joint Circle Conference of All India RMS & MMS Employees Union, Gr.-‘C’,
Mail Guard & MTS Gr.-‘C’ of West Bengal Circle held on and from 6th
February to 9th February, 2014 at Howrah.
The inaugural and Open Session held at
Railway Institute Hall (Golmohor) on the 6th February, 2014 at 1400
hrs. A colorful Procession covering with Red Flag started from Delegate camp
and cover the Howrah Town. The conference was inaugurated by Com. M. Krishnan,
Secretary General, Confederation and NFPE.
The Red Flag of NFPE was hosted by
Com. Giriraj Singh, President, NFPE. In the Deliberation of speech Com.
Krishnan express in details about the onslaught faced by the Staff of Postal
Department due to the Policy adopted by the Postal Authority directed by UPA-2
Government. He explained elaborately about the Postal Policy, 2012. In his
deliberation he expressed in details pre and post formation of the 7th
CPC. The situation demands for united struggle to face the Challenge – it was
his firm opinion.

were Com. S. S. Roy, Jt. Convener, 12th July Committee, Com. T.
Dasgupta, President, C-o-C, West Bengal, Com. Giriraj Singh, General Secretary,
R-III, Com. P. Suresh, General Secretary, R-IV, Com. R. N. Dhal, Circle
Secretary, Odisha Circle, Com. B. G. Sur, President, GDS Union(NFPE) and other
Circle Secretaries of NFPE Group of Unions, West Bengal Circle.
The Delegate Session held on and from
7th February, 2014 at Medical Hall, Howrah. Com. S. K. Bardhan,
Circle Secretary, placed the Biennial Report and Com. S. C. Ball, Treasurer
placed the Accounts.
A Seminar was held on 7th
February, 2014 at about 15-00 hrs at Indian Medical Association Hall about the
Subject- “Pre and Post Globalization and its effects”. The Speaker of the
subject was Com. Debasis ChaKraborty, an eminent journalist.
Com. Giriraj Singh, GS, R-III
expressed in details about the problem faced by the RMS & MMS Employees
including the development of the Cadre Restructuring. Mr. J. Panda, Chief Post Master General and Mr. S.
Ranjan, DPS(HQ), West Bengal Circle attended the Conference on 8th
February, 2014 and expressed their good wishes.
Forty one (41) Delegates participate
in the debate of Secretariat report and Accounts. Nearly 150 Delegates and
Visitors attended the Conference. Amongst the Delegate and Visitors a good
number of Young and Lady Comrades attended.
