The Meeting regarding MNOP will be held on 2nd November, 2012 with Member(O) at 3 pm. Secretary General of NFPE & FNPO will attend the meeting.
The following Proposals were forwarded to Federation and CHQ in addition to our previous proposal in c/w MNOP. 

1.         All the SH will be under the control of RMS Division, because the RMS Staff are specialized for sorting work.

2.                   More SHs are required in Major Dist. consigned Mail Office.

            3.                   More ICSHs to be opened. 

4.                   More L1 offices in each circles are required as per the proposal already been submitted. 

5.                   HOC will be authorized to open the more L1 offices with consultation with Staff Side. 

6.                   Introduction of Mail bags in between one L2 office to another L2 office within the circle to avoid back routing of Mails. 

7.                   Authorize HOC for necessary Mail Arrangement instead of Directorate.

C.G.C.C. Conference will be held on & from 4th November, 2012 at "Sarat Sadan", Howrah. Circle Working Committee already decided that, from each Division one Delegate/ Visitor will be provided (Preferably Divisional Secretary). So you are requested to submit the list addressed to the Reception Committee endorsing a copy to the Circle Union. Delegate fee (Rs.300/-) will be paid by the respective Divisional Unions.

A mass demonstration was organized by the circle JCA (comprising of NFPE & FNPO) of West Bengal Circle in front of Yogayog Bhawan on 09-10-2012 at 16-00 hrs against Price Hike, FDI in Pension and Insurance Sector. One resolution was taken in that meeting and forwarded to the Prime Minister and the Speaker of Loksabha.

Reporting of 6^th Joint Biennial Divisional Conference of RMS ‘H’ Division

The 6th Joint Biennial Divisional Conference of All India RMS & MMS Employees Union, Group- 'C', Mail Guard & MTS of RMS 'H' Division Branch was held at Krishna Pada Ghosh Memorial Hall (CITU Building), Kolkata- 700009 from 04-10-2012 to 05-10-2012. Com. Giriraj Singh, General Secretary, R-III, CHQ inaugurated the Conference. Com. S. K. Bardhan, President, R-III, CHQ, Com. Swati Roybera, AGS, R-III, CHQ, Com. Dipankar Dey, AGS, R-IV, CHQ, Com. Sanjoy Chakraborty, C/S, R-IV and other leaders were present there and delivered their speech at the Open Session. The delegates of the conference discussed about RMS- MMS problems, MNOP, modernization at the Department as well as the attack on our members. The demands of upgrade Sealdah RMS as L-1 office, opening of TMO at Chitpur (Kolkata terminal), re-opening of Barasat RMS were also raised. The Conference decided to make the Strike (called by the Confederation on 12-12-2012) a historic one. Com. Arup Chatterjee, Com. Santanu Nandy and Com. Shyamal Kr. Kundu were elected as Dn. President, Dn. Secretary and Dn. Treasurer respectively for R-III and Com. Ashoke Roy Chowdhury, Com. Chandan Banik and Com. Shyamal Kr. Ghosh were elected as Dn. President, Dn. Secretary and Dn. Treasurer respectively for R-IV.
