Divisional Conference of Kolkata RMS Division

The 39th Biennial Divisional Conference of A.I.R.M.S. & M.M.S. E.U., Gr.-C, Kolkata RMS Division was held on 16th and 17th May, 2013 at Kolkata GPO Auditorium. Com. Pijush Roy, General Secretary, CGCC, West Bengal inaugurated the open-session. He explained the present situation and our task ahead. Com. S.K. Bardhan, President, CHQ & C/S, R-III, WB Circle and Com. Sanjoy Chakraborty, C/S, R-IV, WB Circle were present and delivered their speech at that Session along-with the Circle Office Bearer and Divisional Secretaries from other Divisions. Com. Chitta Ranjan Dutta, Com. Subhas Ch. Ball and Com. Biswajit Bhuiya were unanimously elected  as President, Secretary and cashier respectively.

72 Hours long Demonstration, called by NFPE Group of Circle Unions, will be held at Yogayog Bhawan on and from 21st May to 23rd May, 2013, against the onslaught action taken by the Authority and the Unilateral decision bypassing the discussion with the Service Union.

Salt Lake, Kolkata, (4) Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, Kolkata, (5) Anandaloke, Siliguri and (6) Paramount Hospital, Siliguri may be recognized as approved medical Clinic.

2.                   Extension of Medical facilities at P&T Dispensaries- Jalpaiguri & Siliguri.

Note:          Due to shortage of Medical Practitioner the Staff/ Employees are suffering badly. The employees are forced to take Medical facilities from the outside of the Dispensary. So some private Hospital may allow for treatment for the Postal Employees and their families.
