Sub: A brief report on 20th & 21st February, 2013 Strike.
Comrade,
In West Bengal Circle RMS & MMS Circle Union took a positive role for campaign programme up to the base level jointly.
After completion the Joint Circle Council Meeting on the 4th & 5th February, 2013 all out efforts were taken. We opened a dialogue with the FNPO leadership and requested them for formation of Postal JCA.
In the meeting the FNPO leadership expressed that, they are not in a position for formation of JCA. But they will participate in the Strike.
But the fact is that, on 20th February, 2013 most of all the FNPO members performed their duties including some Divisional Secretaries of various Divisions. Again on 21st February, 2013 most of all the members of FNPO joined in mass in their duties. It cannot be denied that in some Divisions a few members of NFPE also performed their duty in office. Above all the total participation in Strike was 65-70% in West Bengal Circle.
Comradely yours,
S.K.Bardhan
