30th AIC at Tirupati attained a Grand Success

Calls for agitational program including day long dharna right from the branch level to circle level.

A brief report of the 30^th AIC:

All the delegates attended the conference were cordially welcomed at Tirupati Railway Station by the volunteer of the reception committee. The accommodation & the fooding arrangements for the delegates, visitors & the guests were unique. The conference was inaugurated by Com. K.K.N. Kutty, the honourable president of Confederation of CG Employees by hoisting our national flag in the morning of 15^th June. The flags of NFPE & AIRMS & MMS EU Group-C were hoisted by Com., Giriraj Singh, President, NFPE & Com. S.K.Bardhan, President, CHQ respectively. Welcome address to the conference was made by G. Sudarshan Verma, Chairman, Reception Committee. The conference was presided by Com. S.K. Bardhan. Com. Kutty in his inaugural deliberation described the present political condition of the country. He highlighted the different subjects furnished in the memorandum to be submitted by the confederation to the 7^th pay commission. He asked for total unity of the CG employees for a sustained struggle in order to achieve our target. Other eminent speakers were Com. K. Murli, Member of Central Committee, CITU, Com. C.C. Pillai, Senior leader of NFPE & Ex-Secretary General of NFPE, Com.Giriraj Singh, President, NFPE & GS, R-III, CHQ, Sri Varaprasad, MP, Tirupati, Sri Gopal Krishna Reddy, MLA, Kalahasti, Com. R.N. Parashar, Asst. Secretary General, NFPE, Com. KV Sridharan, Ex-General Secretary, P-III, Com. Sitalakshmi, General Secretary, P-IV, Com. P.Suresh, GS, R-IV, Com. R. Sivanarayana, President, P-III, CHQ, Com. P. Pandurangrao, GCSC, AIPEU GDS (NFPE), Com. P. Nageswara Rao, GS, CCGEW, AP state, Com. DASV Prasad, CS, P-III, AP Circle etc addressed the committee. A CD of P & T Trade Union History was released by Com. Pillai. Later on the afternoon of 15^th June, a huge as well as a well organised mass rally with a procession was arranged which started from Tirupati Municipal Corporation & ended at RNC Bus Stand. 50 delegates, 20 circle secretaries & 6 CHQ Office bearers delivered their speech & brought into light the problems faced by the RMS employees as well as CG employees throughout the country. An urge was noticed among all the delegates participating in the deliberation for taking programs of movement against attacks unleashed by the government as well as  by the department. Com. Giriraj Singh, GS, kept his reply-speech covering all the aspects. The new committee of CHQ for the next two years was elected headed by Com. S.K.Bardhan, Com. Giriraj Singh & Com. A.K.Gautam as the President, GS & Financial Secretary respectively. Finally, the newly elected CHQ has called for an agitational movement including Dharna program namely ‘CALL ATTENTION DAY TO SAVE RMS & MMS’ right from the branch upto the circle level to be started from the first week of July. The conference was extended by one day upto 18^th June & concluded with much enthusiasm. Com. Swati Roy Bera was elected as AGS, Com. Ramji of MMS & Com. Arup Chakrobarty of WB Division were elected as Federal Councillors from West Bengal Circle. All India Working Women Committee was formed headed by Com. S. Roy bera as Chairperson & Com. Jaya Sharma of Assam Circle as convenor. Com. Sukanya Banerjee of RMS H Division was elected as a member of Women Committee from West Bengal circle. We congratulate all the newly elected members of CHQ, federal councillors & Women Committee.

Divisional Conference of RMS 'SB' Division

30th Joint Divisional Conference of RMS 'SB' Division was held at Panskura, East Midnapore on 7th June, 2014.

Com. Puranjoy Lahiri, Ex- Circle Secretary inaugurate the Conference. Delegates from all Branches were present in the Conference. Com. S. Bardhan, President, CHQ, Com. Aparesh Lahiri, Circle Secretary, R-III, Com. Sanjoy Chakraborty, President, R-IV, Com. Indranil Tewary, Circle Secretary, R-IV, Com. Santanu Nandy, Org. Secretary, R-III were present. Com. Bhola Bhattacharjee and Com. Mahima Ranjan Paul were elected as President and Secretary respectively.
