Com. Santanu Nandy, Officiating Circle Secretary w.e.f. 19/11/2014

Circle Secretary Com. A Lahiri will attend the Central Working Committee Meeting to be held during 23^rd to 24^th Nov’14 at Dwarka , Gujrat. He will be away form  Head Quarter form 19^th Nov’14. Com. Santanu Nandy, Organizing Secretary, Circle Working Committee R-III and S/A RMS ‘H’ Division, will act as Circle Secretary till Com. Lahiri joins and takes charge of his duties.

Divisional Conference of RMS ‘H’ Division

Conference of Head Quarter, RMS ‘H’ Division and the 7^th Joint Biennial Divisional Conference of AIRMS & MMS EU Gr.’C’ Mail Guard and MTS Gr. ’C’ of RMS ‘H’ Division was held on 12^th and 13^th Nov’14 at Krishna Pada Ghosh Memorial Hall Sealdah, Kolkata. The Conference as started through Open Session by inaugural Speech of Com. Tapan Kumar Dasgupta, Convener 12^th July Committee and the President, CGCC, West Bengal. In this speech, Com. Dasgupta highlighted the present social –economic condition of the Country, our Departmental issues and our task in future as an advanced part of the working class. Com. S.K. Bardhan, President, CHQ, R-III also addressed the Conference. Circle Secretaries, Circle Presidents. Divisional Secretaries from Kolkata RMS Dn, RMS WB Dn, MMS Kolkata,  Kol. AP Sorting Division kept their deliberations. 18 members discussed on the Annual Report placed by the Divisional Secretaries, RMS ‘H’ Division.  The Report and the Account were passed unanimously. Com. Nabyendu Sekhar Chakrarborty, Com. Sibnath Chakraborty and Com. Shyamal Kumar Das II were elected as the President, Seceretary and the Treasurer of the Divisional Union R-III respectively. Com Arup Chatterjee, Com Biraj Mondal  and Com Shyamal Kumar Das-II were elected as the President, Secretary and Treasurer , R III of Head Quarter Br. Com Ashoke Kr. Roy Chowdhury, Com Chandan Banik and Com. Shyamal Ghosh were elected as the President, Secretary and the Treasurer of the Divisional Union R-IV respectively.

Divisional Conference of Kolkata Airport Sorting Division

6^th Joint Biennial Divisional Conference of AIRMS & MMS EU Gr.’C’ , Mail Guard and MTS Gr.’C’ was held during 7^th Nov’2014 to 8^th Nov 2014 at ‘Pantha Nivas’ Gora Bazar, Dum Dum Cantonment, Kolkata – 700028. The Conference was inaugurated by hosting the Red Flag of NFPE by Com. Bidyut Chakraborty, President of Divisional Union, of Mail Guard and MTS Gr.’C’. Homage was shown to the Martyrs by different leaders of both Circle and Divisional level. Open session was inaugurated by Com. Tapan Kumar Dasgupta, Convener of 12^th July Committee and the President of CGCC, West Bengal. He gave the maiden speech impressing the audience by bringing in the light of present political, economical and social position of the country. He also enlightened the members on different departmental issues and showed the path to which our future programme of struggle will have to be directed. Sixteen (16) members kept their speech on the biennial report placed by the Divisional Secretaries. The report was passed unanimously. Bothe the Circle Secretaries., Circle Presidents Divisional Secretaries from Kolkata RMS Dn., RMS ‘H’ Dn., and MMS Kolkata were present in the Conference and offered their deliberations.  A strong Working Committee was formed for the next two years headed by Com. Tarun Kumar Ghosh, Com. Ajoy Kumar Ghosh and Com. Samir Kumar Bhowmik as the President, Divisional Secretary and the Treasurer of R –III Divisional Union respectively . Com. Bidyut Chakraborty, Com Ashoke Kumar Ghosh and Com. Samarendra Saha were elected as the president, the Secretary and the Treasurer of R-IV Divisional Union respectively.

3^rd Divisional Convention of DRM’S  union , Kolkata Airport Sorting Division was also held in the afternoon of 8^th Nov’2014. Com. Ahoke Kumar Ghosh, AGS, AIRMS & MMS EU Mail Guard and MTS Gr.’C’ inaugurated the Convention. Com. Tapan Kumar Dutta, Divisional Secretary of DRM’S Union placed this Report for last 3 years and it was accepted by all the DRMS present in the Convention. Com Gurupada Saha and Com. Tapan Kumar Duta were elected as the president and the Secretary of the DRM’S Union of Kolkata Airport Sorting Division for next three years.

Circle Working Committee Meeting Held on 05/11/2014

The Circle Working Committee meeting of AIRMS and MMS EU Gr. ‘C’ Mail Guard and MTS Gr. ‘C’ held jointly on 05/11/2014 at Tarapada Memorial Hall. Items of agenda for ensuing Central Working Committee Meeting to be held at Dwarka during 23^rd to 24^th Nov 2014 were discussed and proposal  to be put forth in the CWC meeting on behalf of circle were finalized. Organization Position was reviewed Following decisions were taken to the Circle Working Committee Meeting:-

a) Joint Divisional Executive Committee Meeting will be conveyed on 02/12/2014 at Krishna Pada Ghosh Memorial Hall. All India leaders will address the said meeting. General Members who are willing to attend the said meeting may  also attend.

b) Intensive Campaign programmes will have to be launched at all Divisional level during 3^rd week of December 2014 to 31^st January 2014 high lightening  the items like role of BJP led NDA Government in connection with 7^th Pay Commission, DA Merger Grant of Interim Relief, our departmental Problems , sectional issues etc. Circle leaders will also take part in the Divisional Programmes.

c) Agitational Programme high lightening the departmental issues, Pay Commission Issues, Divisional level issues etc will be held at Yogayog Bhavan in the 2^nd Week of February 2015.

d) Verification of Membership in 2015 issues should be given top priority.
