13th Joint Biennial Circle Conference

The 13th Joint Biennial Circle Conference of All India RMS & MMS Employees Union, Group-'C', Mail Guard & MTS Gr.-'C', West Bengal Circle was held on and from 14th to 16th November, 2019 at Krishnapada Memorial Hall, Kolkata-9 [Com. R. L. Bhattacharjee Nagar]. The Conference was inaugurated by Com. Avash Roychowdhury, Eminent Leader of Trade Union, West Bengal. Com. Giriraj Singh, General Secretary, R-III, Com. P. Suresh, General Secretary, R-IV, Com. Janardan Majumder, Dy. General Secretary, P-III & Secretary, CGEWCC, West Bengal, Com. Tapan Dasgupta, Joint Convenor, 12th July Committee were present and delivered their valuable speeches at Open Session. One Seminar was also held in this occasion on 15th November, 2019 at 13-00 hrs. Professor Shubhankar Chakraborty, Ex-Vice Chancellor, Calcutta University was the main speaker on the Subject "Vidyasagar's view on Religion and Communalism". 250 Delegates/ Visitors alongwith a good number of lady delegates attended the said Conference from the various part of West Bengal Circle. The Conference took the Resolution on the Ensuing Strike scheduled to be held on 8th January, 2020. Delegates offered their views regarding attack on RMS-MMS, Postal Services, Central Govt.'s view on working class, attack on trade Union rights etc. The Conference was organized by RMS 'H' Division Branch under the leadership of Com. Dilip Chatterjee, Chairman, Reception Committee. For R-III Com. Prasenjit Saha, Com. Santanu Nandy and Com. Indranil Tewary were elected as President, Circle Secretary and Cashier respectively. For R-IV Com. Sanjoy Chakraborty, Com. Dipankar Dey and Com. Janardan Acharya  were elected as President, Circle Secretary and Cashier respectively. The Conference was ended on 16th November with a grand Success.
