CHQ wrote regarding Construction of building for housing TMO at Kolkata Railway Station (Chitpur) under deposit Scheme

Subject:-  Construction of building for housing TMO at Kolkata Railway Station (Chitpur) under deposit Scheme.

Respected Madam,

                             It is brought into your kind notice that a proposal for Construction of building for housing TMO at Kolkata Railway Station (Chitpur) under deposit Scheme under RMS `H` Division was forwarded to Directorate by CPMG West Bengal Circle vide his letter No. Bldg/L-141/II/L dated 19.11.2009. Cost of the building was Rs.19,92,473/- .

                             On the directions of directorate  a revised estimated prepared by Sr. Divisional Engineer /I.E. Railway Sealdah vide his No. 636-W/RMS-SDAH/W-IA  dated 25-06-2010 amounting to Rs. 25,66,639 duly approved by the Head of the Circle and checked arithmetically by the AD (Bldg) and concurred by the CIFA  was forwarded  to Directorate vide CPMG West Bengal letter No. . Bldg/L-141/II/L dated 16.09.2010.

                             Directorate vide its letter No. 67-1/2011 –BP-I dated 27-7-2011 sought some clarifications which were replied by CPMG Kolkata vide his letter No. . Bldg/L-141/II/L dated 12.08.2011.

                           This proposal has not been approved by Directorate so far and staff of Howrah RMS is facing a great difficulty due to shortage of accommodation.

We urge upon you to kindly look into the matter personally and expedite the approval of the estimates for construction of building in West Bengal Circle.
